Using RosterMate
Terms of service
These terms apply to RosterMate AI, operated by Jagjeet Singh in Australia. By using the app, you agree to these terms. Contact sehdevstech@outlook.com for help. Our privacy policy explains data handling.
1. What the app provides
RosterMate is a personal shift-planning tool. Features depend on app version, device permissions, availability and plan. Free includes manual roster creation/editing, shift reminders and local backup/export. Premium adds supported roster imports, templates, message monitoring and cloud backup. Google sign-in is optional for Free and required for subscription verification and cloud features.
Employee/manager workforce management and linked partner accounts are not included in the current offering.
2. Your responsibilities
Use information and documents you have permission to process. Do not upload material you are not authorised to share with processing providers. Protect your account and device. Do not bypass plan limits, misuse the service, submit unlawful material or interfere with other users.
Check all imported shifts and message-based changes before relying on them. The app does not replace your employer’s official roster, attendance system or payroll records. Reminder delivery can depend on Android permissions, battery settings and device conditions.
3. Subscriptions, trials and billing
Subscriptions are purchased through Google Play. The purchase screen shows the applicable local price, currency, billing period and eligible offer before confirmation. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until cancelled through Google Play. Uninstalling the app or deleting your RosterMate account does not cancel a subscription.
Where offered and eligible, a seven-day trial includes two successful AI extractions and one shared 28-day imported-roster window across import routes. A successful extraction counts even if you cancel its preview. Trials and paid AI allowances are limited and checked by the service; Premium does not provide unlimited AI processing. The app should show your applicable limits before use.
After trial or Premium expiry, saved shifts remain available for manual editing and reminders. New Premium actions require active access. Google Play may apply payment grace periods, account holds or accelerated test-subscription periods for license testers.
Trial eligibility, renewal, cancellation and refunds are subject to the terms shown by Google Play and applicable consumer law. You can request assistance from us or Google Play. We do not exclude statutory refund rights.
4. Backups and restoration
Keep a separate local export of important information. Automatic local and Drive backups depend on app use and availability. Drive backup requires separate Google authorisation and active Premium/trial access. Older versions used Firebase-hosted cloud backups; the upgrade does not automatically delete them.
Review backup date, account and roster coverage before restoring. Restore can replace roster/settings data on the device. The upgraded app creates a local safety copy before restore, but backup success and recovery cannot be guaranteed in every device or storage condition.
5. Availability and changes
The app is currently being tested. We may fix, change or discontinue features and provide notice where appropriate. Online features depend on third-party services and internet access. We may restrict access for misuse, fraud, security concerns or unpaid subscriptions, subject to applicable law. Material changes affecting paid services will be handled consistently with applicable consumer rights.
6. Consumer rights and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law where applicable. Subject to those rights, RosterMate is a planning aid and does not guarantee error-free imports, uninterrupted service, delivery of every reminder or suitability as an official employment record.
7. Ending use and resolving concerns
You can stop using the app, cancel a subscription in Google Play and request account/data deletion through our deletion page. Contact us first with concerns so we can investigate. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
